Haali Media Splitter Error

Hi,

I installed the K-Lite pack 4.2.5, ie the latest one today.
I get Haali Media Splitter error can't open file: Unspecified error
when opening the recent videos at
http://www.sports2000.co.uk/results2008/dur-r7-08.htm

If I download the .mov file and run it from my PC, it plays fine.

Any ideas what's up?

Uninstall it.
Re-starting PC
Install K-Lite pack 4.2.5

No joy I am afraid, I still get the same error message.

My machine is Windows 2000 by the way in case that makes any kind of difference.

Select the Gabest MP4 splitter instead of Haali during installation.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I uninstalled K-lite, rebooted, reinstalled, and changed the Haali to Gabest as suggested and the Haali error doesn't happen now, but neither does anything else.

Just get a Black video window that never fills with a picture.

Any other ideas?

FIXED IT...!

I looked at the error message in the playback window which was cannot play this file type.
So reinstalled the QT Aternative and Bingo all is well.
