Hi everybody....

I tried convert MPEG/VCD DAT two channel audio(left & right channel) to RMVB. But can't play with two channel audio. I used any converter like xilisoft, apex, avs can't too.

I checked rmvb file with mediainfo to verify this audio is two channels and tried convert with Easy RealMedia Producer (free) too. but this can play with 2 channel audio rmvb.

My compter installed install Real Alternative and use Media Player Classic too.

So what is problem. Please someone can help me???????

thx

VCD (video CD) has certain file structure. Are you selecting all the right folders?
Video CD uses MPEG-1 for video compression and .DAT as the file extension. Usually burned to disc and played with a DVD software or stanalone DVD player.
However, don't think it's worth it, since VCD offers only marginal "VCR" type quality.

Normally select the AVSEQ01.dat in folder (VCD) or change extension to "MPG. Convert the file to RMVB or whatever format i.e.. AVI, WMV etc.
Not sure what audio compression you are using... but likely don't have the right codec.

I have Real One Player version 11.0.6!
