The First one:

WMP 11 can't play standalone VOB files. I manage to play only when renaming to mpg/mpeg or playing with other player such as VLC, MPC, PowerDVD etc...
Is there any solution that allows playing standalone VOB fles in WMP without changing the file type?

The second thing:

While playing MKV files, the VobSub doesn't work, So I mange to show subtitle with ffdshow video decoder. It's OK for both MKV and AVI files, but the problem is the font size. It's shows very small while playing MKV files and when enlarge - it becomes huge in AVI files... I found the balance when changing the font size to ~30, but it's still not perfect. Any other solution for this one?

Enable "Auto-load VSFilter" in Haali Media Splitter settings.

VOB files can be played in WMP by renaming them to .mpg
