FFdshow subtitle problem for odd MPEG resolution

HI!
Some time ago I recorded using DVBDream some movies from satellite TV (on HDD as .mpg files).The problem is that the subtitle in Windows Media Player(using FFDshow) does not appear on the screen at all. The video window is shown pretty large(WMPl. File ->Properties - 1024*576), as well in other players, but FFshow says 720*576(when activating the OSD). The most mpeg and avi files with "usual" size window(4:3 aspect ratio with normal size look) are running perfectly. What could be the problem here? I don't think is resolution, because the subtitles are running even in HD 720p videos.Please help!
