im using huffy yuv in virtualdubmod to filter and encode a video for my little brother but when i try to open the finished avi the video is far from the original. weird thing is, when i open the huffy video in virtualdub it looks like the original.

Looks like output is interlaced and greyscale. Do you need to use old lossless codec HuffyYUV that makes file bigger? Maybe convert to RGB rather then using YUV. Also, could deinterlace if want progressive output.

Why not just convert using MPEG4-based codec like DIVX, XVID etc.
Anyway, good luck. peace.gif
