Best Video Codec for Xbox 360 Recordings

Hey,

My brother is probably going to be recording some xbox 360 videos, using a WINTV adapter.

Anyway, what do you think would be the best codec to record the videos in? One that would have a good fast recording, and not incredibly high in size, but not incredibly low in quality.
