Flac 1.2.1b How do I get it to work?

I'm using a paid program Audio DVD Creator which states that the program can burn FLAC files. Well, it does not. I wrote to the support and they recommended downloading FLAC 1.2.1b. Well I downloaded it. I still don't know how to use it. I still get "file type not supported" when I try to burn FLAC files to DVD using Audio DVD Creator./ This is the second time I'm posting about this. I've yet to receive any suggestions or help. Help would be appreciated. Anyone out there?

Have the necessary DirectShow Filters? Why not convert files to 96kHz/24bits WAV files and import them to create a DVD audio disk. The result DVD still has to be PCM Wav based so the FLAC files need to be converted.

Lots of audio converters out there including Riverpast products which work well. thumbsup.gif

That was my problem with Audio DVD Creator. I don't know squat about DirectShow Filters and what I need. The Audio DVD Creator website has a link to a forum that does not exist. Getting their team to answer questions takes a long time. I've taken a look at Riverpast and do you know if it will create WAV files in 96kHz/24bits? The examples shown on the website for converting to WAV files shows 48kHz/16bits. I don't want to waste my money on something that will not do what I want it to do.
I've tried Media Monkey's audio converter but it creates only 44kHz/16bits WAV files. I've downloaded 96kHz/24bits files and would like to keep them that way. I've also used an Lplex program but it does not always work in converting 96kHz/24bits FLAC files for burning to DVD. Lplex does not convert 44kHz/16 bit FLAC files.
My only choice now is to keep them on the hard drive and play them on the computer.

I feel like the technology at my fingertips has been more of a curse than a blessing.

Hi! Why don't you use good-old Nero? I've burnt many a FLAC with it! No problem. Do it as a text type though.

You're right though. Sometimes I wonder about all this new-fangled technology too. annoyed.gif
