Media Player Classic is a beauty, but... help

Hi, everyone,

i hope someone can help me.

I have been using Media Player Classic - it is a really cool program.

but all of a sudden something happened and I cant "step frame" in reverse anymore.

That is - the left arrow key used to work for slow mo reverse, but it does nothing now.

I tried downloading all sorts of versions and codecs of MPC but that doesnt work.

please help!

Not all decoders support frame step backwards.

i think i've answered my own question...

the left frame works for AVI files, it seems...

only?

i think some files r missing on windows
try this trick

you need to have a windows CD.

insert a windows XP CD
go to START > RUN
and type CMD

and type the command as shown below

sfc /scannow

it take a few movement to install all your missing
hope your media player works fine after this
