Hello everybody,

Please could somebody help?

I've had a machine built that I will connect to a 32" monitor in my bedroom and I would like to take all my DVD's and copy them to the HDD, but I'm looking to do it in a format such as .avi or .mpg etc.

Please could somebody tell me how I can do this or where I can find a tutorial on how to do this or suggest a free program that will rip the DVD and then something that will convert to above mentioned formats.

Obviously I know it's possible as I've often seen guys who have movies in these formats and they seems to vary in size (700MB - 1.2 GB)

I would appreciate any and all help on this.
