I just got the WinAVI Video converter and registered it. I have tried to convert 10 .AVI movie files but the converter would only convert 2 of the 10 fron avi to mpeg 1 and or 2. I tried Magic Video converter and another converter and they both converted the files for me alright. What might be the reason WinAvi want convert these avi files to mpeg or any other format for that matter. Thanks for any help. Seems i have all the codexes on my machine since the other converters convert these files for me. I have windows XP sp II

P/S.. It will convert the sound and also play the movie in the Advanced tab under the Built in decoder stream type. BUT, It just want convert the movies or show them from the main convert page. Thanks...
