Problem with Quicktime upgrade Can no longer see some videos

I have a number of videos that have a .mov extension but are of a slower than normal frame rate to reduce file size.
I watched them fine with Quicktime version 7.1.6 but recently I had to update my iTunes and when I did that it also updated my Quicktime to version 7.6.2.
Now these videos won't play anymore. mad.gif

I uninstalled the QT 7.6.2 and put back 7.1.6 but now my iTunes won't play! mad.gif I got a error message that says it must have QT 7.5.5 or later.
Hoping that 7.5.5 would work with both my videos and iTunes I found a copy and installed it. This got my iTunes working again- but not my videos. sad.gif

Does anyone have a suggestion how I can see my videos without killing my iTunes? mellow.gif

Any help will be much appreciated. thumbsup.gif
