Hi everyone I'm new here

I have this problem with the mentioned codec, I'm not that knowledgable in software and stuff

but I need this codec to compress videos

it used to work on my previous laptop

but now i bought this new one with windows vista

i still havent got the hang of it

well now i download the codec but it wont install when i click on it

does this has something to do with the security software? mine's windows live onecare
