Will I need this particular Registry program for anything and will it affect anything else in the system?

I have Windows XP and received this error when I downloaded K-Lite Full.....see attachment-
Will I need this particular Registry program for anything and will it affect anything else in the system?

Yapz..
I have the same problem after I got message error:
"unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0x5 codec"
Can anybody help us here?

Please post the exact error message that you get, because yours is certainly different from the one from the one of the topic starter.
