Help
Have this Sony monitor, and it was a broken "hand-me-down". The monitor turns on, and works for no more than a minute before it turns itself off. I'm no tech head by any means, but I thought I might be able to fix it. Have been told that the screen inverter is more than likely the prob. Was wondering your thoughts, and where I would go about gettin my hands on a replacement. Thanks.

We gear towards software issues. Not sure what you are asking... retailer like Costco, Wal-mart, Best Buy would be the obvious choice for a brand new replacement. Otherwise maybe licensed Sony repair depot or dealer can order the part in your area? check local listings.
Technology is so disposable nowadays even if just wanted to repair it. Just picked up new 20" H-def LCD monitor for $120 yesterday.
