Hi everybody.
I'm on a Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit, and video lacks of frames when I play HD or youtube contents.
Looking to performance monitor, I notice that my CPU is not at 100%. An other strangeness is that, when video haevily lacks, I have a short but strong activity on HDD, but this system has 2GB RAM, and playing it never goes over 60% of used memory, so I don't know what's that activity. It seems that something is swapped on HDD and reading from HDD couses the lack.
This system is not so powerfull, so I don't know if this because of codecs or hadware.
I'm playing on a ATI mobility radeon X700 128MB VRAM @ 1440x900 32bit.
I tried to use WMP12, VLC1.0.3 and Media Player Classic.
K-lite is up to date.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Have you checked what the pagefile settings are (under system>advanced>virtual memory). Look at the recommended settings suggested by windows, then uncheck the system managed and enter a fixed amount starting with the recommended value, and double that in the maximum field, then click on the set button after the' maximum' field. OK then restart. Make sure "Hardware acceleration is off in the video section of player setup, where addressable.
