On Windows 7 when I load K-Lite and and then try to play a video that is being delivered using a JavaFX interface the played video file always pops up. Is there a way to get this to act the same as it does on windows XP or Vista. In both of these previous versions of windows the JavaFX handles the play of the video whereas Windows 7 the video that being played pops up in another window for the video to play in. We liked the Play to the Java FX window the best as in no popup new windows to play the movie file. Is there something inherent in Windows 7 that requires the video to be played in a separate window and makes it so the control the the video goes away from the JavaFX libraries????
I should mention that before installing the K-Lite codec package I could not play the mp4 video inside the browser at all.
I am running the latest version of K-lite. 5.70 Basic package installed.
Running on Windows 7 Ultimate
4gb of Memory
Intel Centrino Dual Core.
Thanks for any help with this.
