You don't have to decompress the file. It looks like this: AdobePS7Tryout.exe

If executable file doesn't launch properly..

1. corrupted downloaded (CRC check failed)

2. downloaded wrong version for your OS.

3. your computer doesn't meet certain specs/criteria to run it.

I too had problems with Photoshop. When I purchased a new computer, it wouldn't reload.

I wasn't about to upgrade and send more money, so I looked around for an alternative. I found an equal product, if not better in The Gimp and what's more it's free software. Everyone that I've told about it has found it to be wonderful with all the feature (that I can see) that Photoshop has. Here's where you can download The Gimp: http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

Good luck. I hope it helps.

Regards,
Jerry

It's also possible if changed your computer configuration i.e. new computer you will have to re-activate your Photoshop if have full product.

Want to get alternative paint program? try paintshop pro. Quite good.
You will find it here.

Corrupt... means file is broken or incomplete upon download.

Try downloading latest version 8 CS that is free trial from the source. Also good idea to use a download manager esp for big files i.e. reget, flashget, netpumper etc

P.S. may have to register for free in order to download wink.gif
