FFDShow And AC3 Filter?

If I am using FFDShow do I still need to install AC3 Filter?

FFDShow has AC3 decoding support, but many players have problems with it as i experienced... so it's good to have the AC3 Filter 1.01a RC5 installed, you may disable it & force FFDShow if you want during playback.
