Hi there!
I can give you an answer to 2nd question. Alexander Vigovsky (main AC3 Filter developer) sent us an email saying that AC3 Filter testX is only for testing and may be completely unstable or limited in functionality (in testing purposes). Many people can't understand what test version means and he is receiving emails from people who do not understand why this 'new' versions do not work.
Although this request is a little childish (beta versions are also unstable and all sites publish betas
) , we respect his wish and that link was temporary removed.
If you really want to try test versions, here is the latest: test 8
http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/test/ac3f...1_02a_test8.exe
(if this link will be broken replace test8 with test9, 10...).
As soon as Alexander Vigovsky allow us to publish a more stable version you'll find it on AC3 Filter page

Hello,
maybe you simply should remove the complete line to avoid misunderstandings?
thanks for your answer.
