Can't use unsigned and hacked versions and expect them to work with WMP. I don't recommend Stinky's codec, but you can try using it with Direct Show player like Zoom player, BSplayer or MPC. You can use stand alone VideoLan Player (VLC).

Insist on WMP? Have to buy a licensed DVD Decoder plugin. The DVDX Pack instantly adds DVD playback to Windows Media Player in Windows XP.

However, for best quality use a registered 3rd party DVD (MPEG2) decoder with a DVD player i.e. WINDVD, PowerDVD. If you have a DVDROM, software is usually bundled with it. wink.gif
