Hi Kurt!

As I know the 3ivx D4 Toolkit supports decoding Tag 255. smile.gif

Hi.

I seem to be having the same problem as Kurt, so I downloaded the 3ivx toolkit. I installed it and all, but my DivX player still won't play the audio. So I was wondering if I have to change any of the settings in 3ivx, and which ones? Another problem I'm having with the 3ivx, is every time I open the program, it freezes on me. Is this the only way to solve the tag 255 audio problem in DivX?

Thanks for your help.

Hi smile.gif

Some components of the 3ivx Toolkit may have incompatibilities on your comp.
I suggest uninstall it.
You have the DivX Player so I think the latest DivX decoders are installed as well - for video decoding.

There are codec packs those include this audio codec tag 255 support.
Try to (custom)install K-Lite Codec Pack
When installing you can select the components. Uncheck everything and only check the boxes "AAC(3ivx)" under audio.

CoreAAC Directshow filter. I'm not sure if this works...
