I just downloaded the huge a$$ codec pack and when installing I said to install EVERYTHING (where you have to check the boxes) and after it was done my RealPlayer doesn't work anymore. I click on a media file and even on the RealPlayer itself and it doesn't open. It hasn't got any error message or anything. This is the RealPlayer Gold Edition V10.5 which is the payed for one and it's really pissing me off. Is there any way to fix this?

Well, you made 2 mistakes. Paid for Real Player and installed a monster pack. rolleyes.gif
You have to uninstall the pack (if you can). unsure.gif It could mess up everything.
BTW why did you DL and select a full install with player when you already have that Real Player?
I suggest read the pinned topic about codecs, and how to custom install a codec pack.

edit: read the ACE Mega CodecS Pack reviews also, there are some suggestions how to make your Real Player work again.

Hi,

had similar problems. If you want to keep both, the Ace Pack and Real Player, deinstall real player and reinstall it. Works only sometimes. Try it 2 - 3 times. If it sill doesnt work, you have to deinstall the Ace Pack and get another solution for your codecs. For me the Cole Codec Pack ( a smaller one ) amd Elecard was a good choice. Good codec Packs are K-Lite or Nimo, too.
Otherwise you can check out the codecs with G-Spot and download only codecs you really need. Best choice.
If deinstalling Ace Pack makes problems ( mostly does ), download "Your Uninstaller" ( Shareware ) and deinstall it in the " force to uninstall" mode.
You will find the Uninstaller with any searchengine. No guarantees.
Always set a restore point.
Good luck!
